2. Elmcrest <br />• A cratered dirt road and connector street to Lino Lakes . Drivers avoid this road if they can. <br />• Starts as paved, 100 ft later, dirt, borders Lino Lakes then becomes paved again, and just as it enters <br />Lino Lakes it becomes dirt again. <br />• It connects Fable Hills, Hugo Gardens, Clearwater Creek , Hugo and West Oaks neighborhoods <br />• Its condition forces traffic through the Clearwater Creek neighborhood on a narrow winding road with <br />park ing on each side, past a park with children playing. This road never intended to be a major <br />artery. Due to programs like MapQuest, traffic is directed through this narrow winding street. <br />• This is a public safety liability just waiting to happen. I’m sure our city vehicles take a beating too. <br /> <br />3. Elmcrest to Otter Lake Road to Main Street. <br />• Dirt, paved, dirt again <br />• Environmental issues with dusty road oiled each year <br />• Could be link to Met Council park and ride if made safe for cars and bikes. <br /> <br />Red is Elmcrest <br />Black line represents paved area <br />Blue circle shows Tart Lake Rd which <br />was never intended to be used as it is <br />Blue circles are where road turns into <br />dirt road, with hundreds of pot holes. In <br />summer, oil is sprayed on the road to <br />keep dust down. Env ironment issue? <br />New park and ride to be built on <br />Centerville/Lino Lakes Border. <br />Lino Trail starts at SE corner of <br />Clearwater Creek neighborhood and <br />follows Otter Lake Rd up the Main St.
