As part of the proposed project the City identified the need to <br />acquire right -of -way and /or easements from 16 parcels adjacent to the proposed <br />improvements. <br />Over the past three months Wilson Development Services, on behalf of the City, has <br />worked with property owners to reach agreement on the direct purchase of property by <br />the City. <br />As of January 22, 2007 the City was able to reach agreement on 15 of the 16 parcels. <br />The total acquisition cost for properties under agreement is $1, 267,274.00. A listing of <br />the properties and the amount agreed to per property is attached. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends approval of Resolution No. 07 -17. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />1.
