• Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 07 -29 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE 2030 VISION PLAN <br />WHEREAS, The Lino Lakes City Council in 2006 initiated a unique process that <br />projects the community's views and plans forward to the year 2030; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the planning process included a Quality of Life Survey, a citizen - <br />driven visioning process and a Comprehensive Plan update; and <br />WHEREAS, The visioning process was for the purpose of providing citizens the <br />opportunity to look ahead to the future and define the city they <br />desire in the year 2030 and lay groundwork for the completion of <br />the Comprehensive Plan update; and <br />WHEREAS, The 2030 Vision Plan outlines goals and strategies <br />designed specifically to provide input and guidance into the <br />Comprehensive Planning effort that will commence in March 2007. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Lino Lakes City Council members <br />do hereby accept the citizens' 2030 Vision Plan, and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Lino Lakes City Council <br />members do hereby wish to express their appreciation to the many citizens of <br />Lino Lakes who participated in the 2030 Vision process for their time and <br />commitment to ensuring the best and highest quality future for Lino Lakes. <br />John Bergeson, Mayor <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />
