The historical <br />development pattern of Blaine and Forest Lake, however, has created a slightly more varied housing <br />stock with respect to the type of units in those communities. In Blaine, nearly 15% of its housing <br />stock are mobile homes, which were developed predominantly in the 1960s and 1970s when Blaine <br />was beyond the developing edge of the metro area.
