o-1-(440 YVt41
q)-12_00-7
QUESTIONS FOR CIY COUNCIL & MAYOR
From
Wayne Brunn, President
Brunn Construction Co., Inc.
Hodgson / CR J Master Plan
1. Why is it important to have green space buffering between residential
and commercial on the west side of 49, but not on the east side on our
site?
2. Why is it good planning to have roads located on property lines, yet
that is not followed through out the master plan?
3. Why was it a good design in the March 2005 Master Plan to have the
road at Kent street and now it is not?
4. Is the City of Lino Lakes not concerned for Shoreview residences
having to deal with vehicular traffic head lights shining in their Living
Rooms?
5. The planning strategy for the north intersection on Hodgson Road is
for commercial on each corner. This would also work at Kent Street
and CR J.
6. Why is it not appropriate to request the Met Council to include all of
the Master Plan area in the MUSA at this time? This is of great
concern to us as the city staff has recommended denial of our
Pheasant Stroll Estates application because it was outside the MUSA.
(Staff Report - Recommendation — Item #3)
7. Why does the city want us to partake in the construction of a road that
we don't benefit from and we can't use? Why wouldn't we be allowed
to have driveways access the road? It appears that driveway access
would be allowed to the north of what is now the Rock Gardens. Is
this Fair?
