• • 1st Reading: 4/9/2007 Published: 2nd Reading: Effective: To County Recorder Council Member - moved for adoption of the following ordinance- CITY OF LINO LAKES ORDINANCE NO. 02-07 AMENDING THE CITY CODE BY REPEALING THE CURRENT CHAPTER 807 AND ADDING A NEW CHAPTER 807 ENTITLED OPERATION OF SNOWMOBILES AND ALL - TERRAIN VEHICLES The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota does ordain: Section 1. That Chapter 807 of the Lino Lakes Code of Ordinances be and hereby is repealed. Section 2. That the Lino Lakes Code of Ordinances be amended by adding thereto a new Chapter 807 to read as follows: CHAPTER 807 OPERATION OF SNOWMOBILES AND ALL - TERRAIN VEHICLES 807.01: Definitions 807.02: Age Restrictions For Snowmobile Operation 807.03: Operation of Snowmobiles Within the Corporate City Limits 807.04: Road Crossing by Snowmobiles 807.05: Snowmobiles at Uncontrolled Intersections 807.06: Snowmobile Equipment Requirements 807.07: Operation of All- Terrain Vehicles Within the Corporate City Limits 807.08: Exemptions From Provisions 807.09: Violation; Penalty 807.01: DEFINITIONS: Unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, the words, combinations of words, terms, and phrases as used in this chapter shall have the meanings set forth in this section: ALL- TERRAIN VEHICLE: CLASS I: A motorized flotation -tired vehicle of not less than three (3) low pressure tires, but not more than six (6) low pressure tires, that is limited in engine displacement of less than eight hundred (800) cubic centimeters and total dry weight less than nine hundred (900) pounds.
