Council Member introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 07 -76 <br />APPROVING APPLICATION FOR A TEMPORARY 3.2 PERCENT BEER <br />LICENSE, CABARET LICENSE AND AN EXEMPTION FOR GAMBLING <br />PERMIT FOR THE ANNUAL ST. JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH <br />AUGUST FESTIVAL <br />WHEREAS, St. Joseph's Catholic Church has made application for a temporary <br />3.2 percent malt liquor (beer) license, a cabaret license and an exemption for <br />lawful gambling permit for their annual August Festival to be held August 11th and <br />12th 2007; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes Police Department has conducted a <br />background investigation of the applicants; and <br />WHEREAS, St. Joseph's Catholic Church has paid the required license fees and <br />is in compliance with city ordinance; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />That the City Council hereby approves the temporary 3.2 percent malt liquor <br />(beer) license, the cabaret license and the application for exemption for gambling <br />permit for the 2007 St. Joseph's Catholic Church August Festival. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 29th day of May, 2007. <br />John Bergeson, Mayor <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Council Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />• <br />• <br />
