FIRM OVERVIEW 1 CITY ENGINEERING SERVICES TKDA ENGINEERING • ARCHITECTURE • PLANNING Our approach to serving the City is to form a partnership and work together as an extension of City staff. The City of Lino Lakes uses the consulting engineer model to fill the position of City Engineer. The City Engineer's role is to guide development of new infrastructure, in accordance with the City's expectations for adequate public facilities, along with the responsibility of maintaining existing facilities. TKDA has performed this role for Lino Lakes in a variety of capacities since 1982. We are committed to establishing a long term relationship with the residents, City staff, City Council, and community stakeholders. We understand that these relationships are necessary for the successful delivery of our team - based professional services because these stakeholders must have confidence and trust in our work. SERVICES: • Comprehensive Infrastructure Planning • Building and Implementation of Capital Improvement Programs • Inventory and Condition Assessments • Recommendations on Rehabilitation and Maintenance Practices • Prioritization of Capital Asset Replacement and Repair • Development of Design Standards and Guidelines • Assessment Policies, Practices, and Calculations • Management of State Aid Systems • Development and Implementation of MS4 Permit Programs • Right -of -Way Management • New Policy Development such as "Complete Streets" • Traffic Calming/Traffic Sign Policies and Constituent Response • Fee Schedules /Rate Studies /User Charge Systems • Value Engineering • Public Stakeholder Involvement /Communication Plans • Preparation of Cost Estimates • Feasibility Reports and Studies • Detailed Plans and Specifications • Construction Contract Management • Construction Observation Services • Record Drawings and As -Built Record Management City of Lino Lakes 1 City Engineering Services
