Working Relationships We have worked directly for the Vadnais Lake Area Water Management Organization (VLAWMO) on improvements to Lambert Creek and assisting them in establishing their Storm Water Utility fund. We have also coordinated development reviews and project permitting with them as part of our city engineering work with the City of Vadnais Heights. Phase 10 Streets Storm Sewer Analysis and Rain Gardens Crystal, Minn. We have worked with the Rice Creek Watershed District (RCWD) on several permitting projects including work in Lino Lakes and Mounds View and in review of Local Surface Water Management Plans we prepared for Shoreview and Arden Hills. We also worked with RCWD during review of the Non - degradation Loading Assessment we completed for the City of Blaine. Like you, we have also partnered with the Anoka Conservation District to review developed urban areas and determine specific actions that can be taken to improve water runoff quality and enhance receiving waters. We worked with them in the City of Cambridge to review the City and identify areas where rain gardens, tree pits and sand filters could be installed to retrofit the urban stormwater system. NPDES Phase 11 MS4 Program SEH has assisted more than 30 cities in preparing their SWPPP and Notice of Intent for the MS4 General Permit since the program began in 2003. We are involved with the Minnesota Cities Stormwater Coalition to stay current on program requirements and help you navigate the ever - changing program, including the expected changes that will be part of the permit renewal scheduled for 2011. As the City moves forward with stormwater program improvements including addressing the Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) needs for Centerville and Peltier Lakes, the Lower Chain of Lakes, Clearwater Creek and Hardwood Creek, experience with TMDL development and implementation will play a critical role in how effective and efficiently the City can address the respective load allocations. Our staff has that direct experience with the allocation process and implementation program needs through our work leading the Sweeney Lake TMDL study within the Bassett Creek Watershed. SEH prepared graphic brochures of rain water garden types and worked with residents to select planting plans for the rain water gardens designed throughout this project site. The project reduced stormwater run -off by using pervious pavers.
