Mark D. Benson, PE, <br />LEED GA <br />Transportation & Traffic <br />Engineering Lead <br />Mark has 25 years of varied <br />qtransportation planning and <br />preliminary design experience <br />working for Mn /DOT and as a <br />Consultant. His experience has <br />included coordinating and managing the preliminary <br />planning, environmental impact documentation, <br />geometric design, and public involvement activities <br />of numerous major highway corridor projects and <br />interchanges. In addition, Mark has assisted <br />communities with Comprehensive Transportation <br />and Master Planning. Through these roles, Mark has <br />become an expert with public involvement. all <br />aspects of the environmental review process, and <br />obtaining state and federal project funding. Marl< <br />recently managed your Lake Drive Interchange <br />project and he is also a resident of Lino Lakes. <br />Tom Sohrweide, PE, <br />PTOE <br />Senior Transportation Engineer <br />Tom has more than 35 years of <br />traffic engineering and <br />operations experience. He <br />provides traffic operations <br />support to municipalities and <br />also manages a variety of <br />projects, including traffic studies, traffic signal <br />designs, roadway designs. Tom has also served as <br />Assistant Traffic Engineer for Skokie. Illinois; and <br />Traffic and Parking Engineer for the City of <br />Appleton, Wisconsin. <br />John Gray, PE <br />Traffic Signal Engineer <br />John has designed hundreds of <br />traffic signal systems, flasher <br />systems. and emergency vehicle <br />preemption systems during his <br />22 years of experience. We have designed <br />projects ranging from signal systems to freeway <br />interchanges. Our staff maintains relationships <br />with all levels of staff at the County. In particular <br />we frequently coordinate and meet with Doug <br />Fischer and Kate Garwood. We understand how <br />critical the county highway network is to serving <br />the transportation needs of the City. <br />
