4. Describe your firm's philosophy of providing municipal engineering services. <br />5. Describe the approach you would use to communicate and coordinate with the City <br />Council, the City Administrator, City employees, the public and the media. <br />6. Provide a statement committing the aforementioned staff to this proposal. <br />E. Related Experience <br />1. Describe your firm' experience and current practice in providing engineering services <br />to governmental entities, including the names of current government clients. Describe <br />your firm's experience in providing advice and services to City management, staff, and <br />policy- making boards. Include a discussion of how your current and past experience <br />will enable you to effectively and efficiently represent the City of Lino Lakes. <br />2. Describe your firm's experience and expertise as it specifically relates to land <br />development <br />3. Provide at least two examples of complex issues your firm has successfully handled for <br />municipal or other public agency clients, including the names of the staff members <br />who worked on those projects. <br />4. Please provide your firm's experience and working relationship with the Anoka <br />County Highway Department, Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT), <br />Rice Creek Watershed District and Vadnais Lakes Water Management Organization. <br />5. Provide any other information that you believe is relevant to the RFP. <br />F. Proposer's Detailed Approach to the Scope of Services <br />1. The proposal shall address in detailed fashion the approach of the firm to the Scope of <br />Services. <br />G. Basis for Compensation <br />Basic City Engineering services are currently provided on a per hour fee basis which includes <br />participation at public meetings. All development /project review services are also billed at an <br />hourly rate. <br />1. Provide a proposed hourly rate schedule including any multipliers and /or pay factors <br />for overhead and profit for all positions (i.e. City Engineer, CAD Operator, Draft person, <br />Inspector, Secretary, etc.), for those services referred to as hourly services. If you are <br />proposing a monthly retainer, indicate what services are to be provided. <br />2. Include a detailed description and explanation of all other fees and /or charges that <br />may arise for engineering services. Include any fee variation for general engineering <br />4 <br />
