Studenski, City Engineer <br />COUNCIL MEETING DATE: June 11, 2007 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 07 - 86, Approving Plans and Specifications and <br />Authorizing Advertisement for Bids, Lino Park Grading and Trail <br />Improvements <br />Vote Required: Simple Majority <br />BACKGROUND: <br />This project is part of the 2007 Park Board Goals that were approved at the <br />January 8, 2007 council meeting. These improvements will serve as the <br />neighborhood park for the new residents. The park funds from the Pine Glen <br />development will fund these improvements. <br />City staff has prepared the plans and specifications for this work and is <br />requesting Council approval to accept the plans and specifications and advertise <br />for bids. <br />The schedule for this project is as follows: <br />Open Bids <br />City Council Awards Contract <br />Construction Begins <br />July 12, 2007 <br />July 23, 2007 <br />August, 2007 <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends the adoption of Resolution No. 07 - 86, Approving Plans and <br />Specifications and Authorizing Advertisement for Bids, Lino Park Grading and <br />Trail Improvements. <br />
