Specific Performance Objectives to be completed during <br />the remainder of 2007 and throughout 2008: <br />(1) <br />Pursue funding for local transportation <br />improvements: <br />(a) 49 and J <br />(b) Lake Drive and Main Street <br />(c) Northerly bypass. <br />(2) Prepare an Access Management Plan for Birch <br />Street that includes provisions for pedestrian and <br />bicycle safety improvements. <br />(3) <br />Consider the possibility of a four -lane highway <br />35W to 35E. <br />3. Goal: Review and update the City Charter so that it reflects and <br />facilitates current and future needs of the City. <br />a. Specific Performance Objectives to be completed during <br />the remainder of 2007: <br />(1) Completion of Citizen Charter Task Force Study <br />(June 1, 2007). <br />(2) Accept report of the Citizen Charter Task Force. <br />(3) Take appropriate Council action on <br />recommendations contained in the report which <br />may include: <br />• Placing an Amendment to the Charter on the <br />ballot, or <br />• Placing specific street project(s) on ballot. <br />b.
