• <br />• <br />• <br />AGENDA ITEM 3A <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Gordon Heitke, City Administrator <br />MEETING DATE: August 13, 2007 <br />TOPIC: 2007 -2008 Council Goals <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br />BACKGROUND <br />The City Council met on March 28, 2007 to establish goals and specific performance <br />objectives for the remainder of Calendar Year 2007 and Calendar Year 2008. As done <br />in the past, staff added proposed action steps and has identified lead parties, <br />contributors and funding sources to the goal document. <br />The Council Goals, Objectives and Action Plan was reviewed and revised by the <br />Council at their work session on August 6, 2007. The Council indicated that a <br />quarterly review of the goals should be instituted and language to that effect is <br />included in the attached resolution. <br />The final document is being presented to the Council for consideration of adoption. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff is recommending approval of Resolution No. 07 -117 approving 2007 -2008 <br />Council Goals. <br />
