• <br />• <br />• <br />AGENDA ITEM 1 D <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Julie Bartell, City Clerk <br />DATE: September 10, 2007 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 07 -130, Approving Peddlers License <br />for Turco Construction <br />VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority (3/5 Vote) <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Turco Construction, Inc., 4808 Lilac Drive North, Brooklyn Center, MN, has <br />submitted a peddler's license application to the city clerk's office. The company <br />requests authorization to send company representatives door to door in the city <br />selling roofing, siding and gutters. The city has received the permit fee and all <br />the necessary forms required to issue Turco Construction a license. The Lino <br />Lakes Police Department has performed a background check and indicated <br />there would be no reason to recommend denial of the license. <br />The application and all other required information is on file in the city clerk's <br />office for review. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Approve Resolution No. 07 -130 <br />2. Deny Resolution No. 07 -130 <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Option No. 1 <br />
