Enterprises <br />VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority (3/5 Vote Required) <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The City has received an application for a peddler /transient merchant license from <br />T.A.P. Enterprises of Fremont, Nebraska, to hold a tool and general merchandise sale <br />at St. Joseph's Church, 171 Elm Street, on Thursday, September 10, 2007. The <br />applicant indicates they would be displaying their merchandise in the great hall area for <br />payment and eventual pick up from a semi -truck in the parking lot. The hours of the <br />sale are 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. <br />Upon receipt of the application, personal history forms for all who would be involved in <br />the sale were forwarded to the Police Department for a background check. <br />The permit application and background information are on file in the city clerk's office. <br />If issued, the license would be in place for a period of six months. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Approve Resolution No. 07 -136, approving the issuance of a <br />Peddler/Transient Merchant license to T.A.P. Enterprises <br />2. Deny approval of Resolution <br />
