AGENDA ITEM 2E <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR Al Rolek <br />• MEETING DATE September 10, 2007 <br />TOPIC Consideration of Resolution 07 -146 Recognizing Receipt and <br />Designation Of Memorial Hospital District Funds <br />• <br />• <br />VOTE REQUIRED <br />Simple Majority <br />In December, 2006, the City received a distribution of funds from the Memorial Hospital District in <br />the amount of $17,383. The District has dissolved and has distributed their remaining funds, <br />partially the result of residual tax levies, on a pro -rata basis to the constituent cities in the District. <br />This distribution was receipted in 2006 and is included in our budget surplus and fund balance at <br />the end of 2006. The City Council has reviewed this distribution and the District's <br />recommendation for its use, and has made a determination as to how the funds should be utilized. <br />Resolution 07 -146 formally recognizes and accepts the Memorial Hospital District funds and <br />designates their use by the city. Staff recommends the adoption of Resolution 07 -146. <br />1. Adopt Resolution 07 -146. <br />2. Return to Staff for further review. <br />Option 1 <br />-32k- <br />
