• <br />AGENDA ITEM 3B <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Julie Bartell, City Clerk <br />MEETING DATE: September 10, 2007 <br />TOPIC: Liquor Compliance Violations <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br />BACKGROUND <br />The City Council held a hearing on September 10, 2007 commencing at 6:00 p.m. to <br />review the police department's report and recommendations relative to compliance <br />checks that were conducted on Lino Lakes' licensed liquor establishments. <br />The following establishment was found to have violated the City Liquor Code and <br />penalties were considered based on the city's adopted Best Practices Grid: <br />. J &K Liquor; <br />Jason's Bobby & Steve's Auto World <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Based on the results of the hearing, staff is recommending approval of Resolution No. <br />134 that provides for a finding of violation and imposes a penalty regarding J &K <br />Liquor. <br />• <br />
