Pecchia, Public Safety Director/ Chief of Police <br />September 24, 2007 <br />Consideration to Approve Resolution No. 07 -147 entering <br />into a new law enforcement mutual aid agreement with <br />Anoka County Sheriff's Office and the cities in Anoka <br />County. <br />Simple Majority <br />The Anoka County Joint Law Enforcement Council is recommending that the county <br />and the cities in Anoka County enter into a new law enforcement mutual aid <br />agreement. The existing agreement is over 20 years old and does not address current <br />issues. The attached agreement represents the conclusion of the Council as to its <br />terms. It largely follows the League of Minnesota Cities recommendations for such a <br />mutual aid agreement. <br />The purpose of Resolution No. 07 -147 is to enter into a new law enforcement mutual <br />aid agreement and execute the agreement. <br />OPTIONS <br />1.
