• <br />• <br />• <br />WS — Item 4 <br />WORK SESSION STAFF REPORT <br />Work Session Item 4 <br />Date: November 5, 2007 <br />To: City Council <br />From: Julie Bartell <br />Re: 2008 Fee Schedule <br />Background <br />In preparation for 2008 staff is presenting the ordinance that establishes city fees for next <br />year. This one ordinance sets basically all city fees in one document rather than listing <br />and managing fees within each regulating ordinance of the city code. <br />The 2008 Fee Schedule ordinance will be before the council for first reading on <br />November 13, 2007. If first reading and, subsequently, second reading is approved, the <br />ordinance can be published and with the 30 day requirement would be in place by <br />January 2, 2008, the city's first day of business next year. <br />Requested Council Direction <br />Staff is presenting the ordinance with the proposed amendments highlighted, and is <br />requesting council review before the ordinance is considered for first reading. <br />Attachment(s), <br />1.
