•
•
•
WS — Item 1
WORK SESSION STAFF REPORT
Work Session Item 1
Date: November 5, 2007
To: City Council
From: Mary Alice Divine
Re: Legacy at Woods Edge update
Background
Representatives from the Hartford Group will be present to give council members an
update on development within Legacy at Woods Edge, and discuss some proposed
adjustments to the master plan for the purposes of beginning submittals for a senior
housing project.
This proposal would require an amendment to the Land Use Plan in the Lino Lakes Town
Center Design and Development Guide. The Land Use Plan divides Site A (see
attachment) into Mixed Use (senior housing with first floor commercial) on the northern
portion of the site, and Commercial on the southern portion. The proposed plan would
shift the Mixed Use and Commercial to an east/west orientation.
Requested Council Direction
Hartford Group will be seeking input from Council regarding the acceptability of its
proposed changes to the master plan to accommodate the senior housing project.
Attachment(s)
1.
