Council Member <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 07 -203 <br />APPROVING ISSUANCE OF OFF SALE LIQUOR LICENSE <br />AND TOBACCO LIQNCE <br />FOR EAGLE LIQUOR <br />(TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP) <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes met at its regularly scheduled <br />meeting on December 10, 2007, and; <br />WHEREAS, the city has been informed that Eagle Liquor and Tobacco, located at 730 <br />Apollo Drive, Suite 190, will come under new ownership; and <br />WHEREAS, the transfer of an intoxicating liquor license can only be accomplished by <br />application for a new license; and <br />WHEREAS, the corporate entity S & C Liquors, Inc.(Sudhan and Christina <br />Mandandhar) has applied for a liquor and tobacco license to do business as Eagle <br />Liquor and Tobacco; and <br />WHEREAS, the Police Department of the City of Lino Lakes has conducted an <br />investigation of the applicants, and; <br />WHEREAS, said application indicates compliance with the city code concerning liquor <br />and tobacco licensing, and therefore the applicant qualifies for such license and; <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has provided proof of insurance as required and paid the <br />necessary fees; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes <br />hereby approves an Off -Sale liquor license and tobacco license, effective upon state <br />approval, for Eagle Liquor and Tobacco, subject to all the fees, provisions and <br />conditions of the laws of the city, state and of the federal government. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 10th day of December, 2007. <br />John Bergeson, Mayor <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />• <br />• <br />
