05 -07 -07 <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />• <br />OPERATIONS SECTION <br />EMERGENCY OPERATIONS PLAN <br />REVISION: 1 <br />G. The Utilities Restoration branch will be a coordinating position managed by the City <br />of Lino Lakes Public Works Department and private sector utilities in opening roads <br />and providing access to damaged equipment. A listing of private and municipal <br />telephone, electric, and natural gas companies are located in the Resource Guide. <br />H. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) branch will be responsible for triage and <br />transportation of victims. They will work closely with search and rescue, but will <br />not have responsibility for that function. North Transportation will have <br />primary control of this branch. <br />I. The Animal Rescue branch will be coordinated through Otter Lake Animal Care <br />Center. They will be responsible for rescuing, sheltering, and caring for stranded pets. <br />III. AVAILABLE RESOURCES AND SUPPORTING AGENCIES <br />A. Search and Rescue <br />1. The Civil Air Patrol may be available to assist in looking for missing persons. <br />2. The National Guard may be available for search and rescue if the situation is <br />beyond the capability of the City of Lino Lakes' resources. <br />3. The following government and/or volunteer organization(s) within Anoka <br />County and City of Lino Lakes will assist with a major search and rescue <br />operation: Lino Lakes Police Reserves, Lino Lakes Police Explorers, Anoka <br />County Sheriffs office, Anoka County Park Rangers, and Anoka County Radio <br />Club. <br />B. Evacuation, Traffic Control, and Security <br />1. The City of Lino Lakes Emergency Management Director /Chief of Police will <br />jointly prepare in advance for a potential evacuation of City of Lino Lakes <br />residents. Their preparation will include a hazard analysis and vulnerability <br />assessment of the various hazards in the City of Lino Lakes and a determination <br />of appropriate evacuation routes and traffic control points (refer to Resource <br />Manual). The Lino Lakes Police Dept. maintains Mutual Aid Agreements with <br />all Anoka County Law Enforcement Agencies. <br />39 <br />
