Local Emergency Operations Plan Crosswalk: <br />The MNWALK <br />Recommended, but not required items: <br />1. Siren coverage map for your jurisdiction. <br />2. A chart of the ICS/NIMS used by your jurisdiction <br />3. Identity of staging areas. <br />4. Prepare materials that describe the health risks associated with each identified hazard, <br />the appropriate self -help or first aid action, and other survival measures. <br />5. Describe the capabilities of the alternate EOC facilities, such as: emergency power, <br />security, fuel reserves, water, sanitation, ventilation, etc. <br />6. Define all EOP words, phrases, acronyms, and abbreviations that have special meaning <br />relevant to emergency management. <br />7. Identify the location of maps showing critical infrastructure /facilities in your <br />jurisdiction, including: <br />• airports, bridges, dams, pipelines, ports, rail yards, reservoirs, water treatment and <br />supply facilities, lift stations, electrical plants, telephone switching centers <br />• petroleum/chemical /fertilizer /pesticide manufacturing and/or storage facilities, gas <br />storage /distribution facilities <br />• hospitals /medical facilities, pharmaceutical facilities, nursing homes, housing <br />facilities for the elderly, day care centers, schools, colleges, sports arenas, <br />correctional facilities <br />• emergency operating centers, fire and police stations, military installations <br />8. Identify how and where the following specialized search and rescue services /resources <br />will be obtained: aerial searches, collapsed structure rescue (if applicable) ground <br />searches, urban search and rescue teams (if applicable), search and rescue dogs, etc. <br />67 <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />
