REVISED <br />WORK SESSION AGENDA <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />Monday, March 1, 2010 <br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />Community Room (not televised) <br />5:30 P.M. <br />Special Closed Council Session beginning at 5:30 p.m. <br />will precede the regular work session <br />1. Blue Heron Update <br />Staff was instructed to keep on doing what you are doing and report back to council with questions <br />or need for resources. <br />2. Council Support of Broadband Connectivity <br />This item will be on the consent agenda for Monday evening, along with a similar request from <br />Anoka County for their request for federal grant money. <br />3. Budget <br />• Response to council questions (delivered with Friday Update) <br />Staff will send out responses to Councilmember O'Donnell's budget questions. <br />• Storm Water Utility <br />Staff will contact SEH to update the original study. Staff will prepare FAQ's and related information <br />for the public. Staff will establish parameters for the utility fees. <br />• Grant Update (delivered with Friday Update) <br />Staff will keep the council appraised of future grant applications and opportunities. <br />• Budget Session Outline (delivered with Friday Update) <br />Staff will continue to keep council appraised of 2010 finances and budget issues in addition to <br />preparation for 2011 budget work Staff will begin the search for a consultant to assist with strategic <br />planning in advance of 2011 budget work. <br />• Employee Health Insurance <br />Ongoing discussion on this item. <br />4.
