Council Member Stoesz suggested that a two year plan with a <br />224 five year forecast would be more appropriate; that would require a change to the Charter. <br />225 <br />226 11. Woods Edge Property Update — Community Development Director Grochala <br />227 reviewed his written report. The city recently took ownership of the properties and did <br />228 sell one acre for the assisted living project that is underway. The rest of the property is <br />229 listed for sale. The master plan for the area has been under review to ensure that remains <br />230 valid. The Planning and Zoning Board has proposed some modifications that he <br />231 reviewed on an overhead. Staff is proposing the release of a request for interest (RFI), <br />232 just letting the business world know the city has interest in development. The council <br />233 concurred that getting an idea of what's out there is a good concept. <br />234 <br />235 The mayor asked staff about the status of the area chamber of commerce. Mr. Grochala <br />236 indicated some businesses in the area are attempting to get the group active again. <br />237 Mayor Reinert asked to be included in future meetings; he is supportive of the effort. <br />238 <br />239 12. Review March 10 Meeting Agenda <br />240 <br />241 The council reviewed the agenda.
