The Lino Lakes Volunteers in Police Services is <br />organized exclusively for nonprofit, public <br />educational and charitable purposes related to <br />volunteer organizations and groups assisting the <br />Lino Lakes police department. <br />LLVIPS is a 501(c)(3) organization seeking <br />contributions to support these Lino Lakes Police <br />volunteer organizations. Your donations are tax <br />deductible. <br />Community Emergency Response Team (CERT): <br />trains citizens to respond to <br />community emergency and <br />disaster situations. CERT's goal is <br />to do the "greatest good for the <br />greatest number of people." <br />Lino Lakes, %IN <br />rJ <br />COMMUNITY EMERGENCY <br />RESPONSE TEAM <br />Public Safety Citizens Commission (PSCC): <br />reviews and analyzes topics of community concern, shares <br />information with the community related to the police <br />department, provides feedback on potential police <br />department improvement initiatives, offers advice on <br />pending policy considerations and are communicators to <br />policy makers on police issues and concerns. <br />Other Volunteer Groups: Several other groups <br />assist in Police functions: Administrative Volunteers <br />assist with data entry, transcription, filing, crime <br />prevention, investigations, property and evidence, <br />special projects, and much more. Chaplains help <br />with death or serious injury notification, personal <br />support, and other follow up assistance to victims of <br />crisis situations. Neighborhood Crime Watch groups, <br />Trail Watch volunteers, and Business Crime Watch <br />groups provide essential support to the police <br />department and serve as an additional set of eyes and <br />ears looking for suspicious behavior.
