Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10 -74 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE LINO LAKES POLICE DEPARTMENT TO ENTER <br />INTO A GRANT AGREEMENT FOR THE SAFE & SOBER COMMUNITES PROGRAM <br />Resolved by the City Council of The City of Lino Lakes: <br />That the Lino Lakes Police Department is authorized to enter into a grant <br />agreement with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Office of Traffic Safety, for <br />the project entitled "Safe & Sober Communities" during the period from October 1, 2010 <br />through September 30, 2011. <br />Be It Further Resolved that the Chief of the Coon Rapids Police Department is <br />hereby authorized to execute such agreements and amendments as are necessary to <br />implement the project on behalf of the Lino Lakes Police Department and to be the <br />fiscal agent and administer the grant. <br />Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br />Attest: Julie Bartell, City Clerk <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 23rd day of August, 2010. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />
