Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10 -81 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A SUMMARY OF <br />ORDINANCE NO. 10 -10 FOR PUBLICATION <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the first and second reading of Ordinance <br />No. 10 -10, adding to the Lino Lakes Code of Ordinances a new Chapter 405 entitled <br />Regulation of Discharges into the Storm Sewer System; and <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 10 -10 is lengthy and MN Statute 412.191 provides for a city <br />to publish a summary of an ordinance, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council determines that the summary clearly informs the public of <br />the intent and effect of the ordinance, and <br />WHEREAS, the publication in the official newspaper will include a notice that a full <br />printed copy of the ordinance is available at City Hall. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council approves the summary <br />in Attachment A for publication according to state law and the City Charter. <br />Passed by the Lino Lakes City Council this 13th day of September, 2010. <br />Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Julie Bartell, City Clerk <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />• <br />
