Council Member introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10 -89 <br />RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED <br />RE- ASSESSMENTS, PINE STREET PAVING IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted the 28th day of September 2009 <br />called for a Public Hearing on the proposed paving improvements of Pine Street from <br />Lake Drive to 4th Avenue, <br />AND WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the <br />hearing was given, and the hearing was held thereon on the 26th day of October, 2009, at <br />which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon, <br />AND WHEREAS, Resolution 10 -40, Calling for a Public Hearing on Proposed <br />Assessments, Pine Street Paving Improvements, approved on April 26, 2010 is replaced <br />by this resolution based on the final project costs, <br />AND WHEREAS, the clerk has notified the council that such proposed re- assessment has <br />been completed and filed in her office for public inspection, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. A Public Hearing shall be held on the 25th day of October, 2010 in council <br />chambers of City Hall at 6:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed re- assessment and <br />at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement <br />will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such re- assessment. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed <br />re- assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks <br />prior to the hearing, and she shall state in the notice the total cost of the <br />improvement. The City Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the <br />owner of each parcel described in the re- assessment roll no less than two weeks <br />prior to the hearings. <br />3. The owner of any property so re- assessed may, at any time prior to certification of <br />the re- assessment to the County Auditor, pay the whole of the re- assessment on <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />
