• <br />Excerpts from the Lino Lakes Zoning Ordinance <br />SECTION 1. TITLE /APPLICATION/RULES <br />Subd. 2. Rules and Definitions. <br />B. Definitions. The following words and terms, wherever they occur in this Ordinance, shall be <br />interpreted as herein defined: <br />Principal Use. The primary or predominant use of any lot and /or building. <br />Accessory Use. A use of land or of a building or portion thereof customarily incidental and subordinate <br />to the principal use of the land or building and located on the same lot with such principal use. <br />Conditional Use. A land use or development that may not be appropriate generally within a certain <br />district but may be allowed in that district with appropriate restrictions, conditions or limitations as <br />imposed by the City Council <br />Conditional Use Permit. A permit issued by the City Council in accordance with the procedures <br />specified within this Ordinance as a device to enable the City Council to assign conditions to a proposed <br />use or development after consideration of the adjacent land uses and the special characteristics which the <br />proposed use presents. <br />4110 Interim Use. A temporary use of property until a particular date, until the occurrence of a particular <br />event, or until zoning regulations no longer allow said use. <br />• <br />Exterior Storage /Storage Yards. An outside area where equipment, vehicles, trailers, or material <br />relating to the principal use of a parcel of land is stored. This includes semi - trucks and trailers. The <br />stored items are not for sale or display but are used in the everyday operation of the principal use. Also <br />referred to as "outdoor storage." Outdoor sales lots are not outdoor storage but are distinct uses <br />regulated by this ordinance. <br />Outdoor Storage. See "exterior storage." <br />—5— <br />page 1 <br />
