FAX 651184.2427
We are in need of some building repairs at the fire station located at 7741 Lake Drive. Though
we have discussed the leaking roof in the past, the recent rain showed that there is a more
immediate need to have the windows repaired or replaced. The glazing in the windows within
the building has deteriorated allowing large drafts and water to enter the building. Some of the
window sills are warping due to the excess water and I am concerned that mold may set in as
the temperature lowers. I understand that a mold issue has occurred here in the past requiring
the medics to leave the premises for some time until it could be repaired.
Along with that repair and the roof, we are in need of a new service door which is warped and
rusting from the inside out, as well as tile repair on the exterior.
I have not received bids for these projects but would be happy to get some if you would like.
The Centennial Fire District Joint Powers Agreement states each city is responsible for the
capital repairs of their building.
I have attached some photographs for your review. Please contact me if you have any
questions.
erel
Je- L. S reic
Fi e ' hief
