Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10 -102 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING MN METRO NORTH TOURISM BUDGET FOR 2011 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes approved the creation of Chapter 607 of the City Code Relating <br />to a Tax Imposed upon Lodging on October 12, 2009; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lodging Tax is to be used to support MN Metro North Tourism for the purpose of <br />promoting and marketing the participating Member Cities; and <br />WHEREAS, Article XV, Section 6 of the MN Metro North Tourism By -laws state that the annual <br />budget of estimated income, income expense and capital expense shall be approved by the Board <br />of Directors and submitted to a Member City's city council; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes that: <br />The Lino Lakes City Council adopts this resolution supporting the MN Metro North Tourism budget <br />for 2011. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 8th day of November 2010. <br />Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member _ <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />• <br />
