• <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06 -12 <br />PREMISES PERMIT RENEWAL APPLICATION FOR <br />VFW POST 6583, 7868 LAKE DRIVE, LINO LAKES, MN <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />the Lino Lakes City Council met at its regularly scheduled meeting of <br />February 13, 2006; and <br />the Minnesota Gambling Control Board requires organizations to notify <br />the city council at the time of application; and <br />the Minnesota Gambling Control Board requires organizations to submit a <br />resolution from the city council approving the premises permit <br />application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Police Department has conducted a background <br />investigation; and <br />WHEREAS, the VFW Post 6583 is in compliance with City Ordinance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Lino Lakes City Council hereby <br />approves the premises permit renewal application for VFW Post 6583 to conduct lawful <br />gambling at 7868 Lake Drive, Lino Lakes, Mimnesota. <br />ATTEST: <br />John J. Bergeson, Mayor <br />Julieanne Bartell, City Clerk <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 13th day of February, 2006. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
