• Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: COUNTY OF ANOKA CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 06 -12 PREMISES PERMIT RENEWAL APPLICATION FOR VFW POST 6583, 7868 LAKE DRIVE, LINO LAKES, MN WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes City Council met at its regularly scheduled meeting of February 13, 2006; and the Minnesota Gambling Control Board requires organizations to notify the city council at the time of application; and the Minnesota Gambling Control Board requires organizations to submit a resolution from the city council approving the premises permit application; and WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Police Department has conducted a background investigation; and WHEREAS, the VFW Post 6583 is in compliance with City Ordinance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Lino Lakes City Council hereby approves the premises permit renewal application for VFW Post 6583 to conduct lawful gambling at 7868 Lake Drive, Lino Lakes, Mimnesota. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: The following voted against same: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
