AGENDA ITEM 3 B <br />STAFF MEMBER Daniel Tesch, Director of Administration <br />DATE 13 February 2006 <br />SUBJECT Building Permit Technician <br />VOTE REQUIRED 3/5 <br />BACKGROUND <br />We received a large number of applications after the departure of Carri Villella from the <br />Building Division. The applications were screened and first interviews conducted by the myself <br />and 3 members of the community development staff. Second interviews were conducted by <br />myself, the community development director and community development assistant. <br />Based on this and a subsequent background check, we would like to make an offer of <br />employment to Ms. Georgia Roering. Georgia received her building division experience with <br />Forest Lake Township. <br />We expect Georgia to begin with the city tomorrow. <br />OPTIONS <br />1. Extend an offer of employment to Georgia Roering. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Number One. <br />
