Parks
The purpose of the Park system is to provide a comprehensive, balanced and high quality system of Parks,
natural /open spaces and trails to use and enjoy in a cost effective manner. This is accomplished through
the acquisition and planning of land areas, maintenance, development, and inspection to ensure safety and quality.
Currently, the City maintains 17 parks with a total of 114 acres. Each year, the City allocates $15,000 for trail
improvements.
