He clarified that limits will not be placed <br />regarding the size of docks. He stated th at mowing of areas within the conservation <br />easement will not be allowed, and that the c ity will be responsible for regulating the <br />conservation easement area. <br /> <br />Mr. Mike Black, Royal Oaks R ealty, applicant, thanked city staff for their cooperation <br />with this application. <br /> <br />Mr. Pogalz made a MOTION to recommend approval of the Fi nal Plat for an eight lot <br />residential subdivision to be called Gr andview at 7330 Lake Drive. Motion was <br />supported by Mr. Laden. Motion carried 5 - 0. <br /> <br />VI. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br /> <br />A. Update on Comp Plan Process <br /> <br />Mr. Smyser stated that the Advisory Panel meeting for October was cancelled due to the <br />extensive work involved in updating informa tion gathered at the September meeting. <br /> <br />Staff is currently working with the Rice Creek Watershed District to analyze storm water <br />management and runoff. Federal and local agencies are working with staff to produce a <br />quality end result. Mr. Smyser concluded that although the process is behind in the <br />original time schedule, the pr ogress made has been worth it. <br /> <br />Mr. Smyser stated that staff foresees some ch anges to city ordinances, but to what extent <br />will be determined as the process continues. <br /> <br />B. Update on 49/J <br /> <br />Mr. Smyser reminded the board that staff has been working with three other jurisdictions <br />to finalize the signalization at the intersection of County Road J and Hodgson Road. Due <br />to budget issues, the signals are now planned for installation in 2008. <br /> <br />Mr. Smyser explained that the jurisdictions decided that the signals should be installed <br />while the money is available. Mr. Smyser added that any necessary improvements to, or <br />relocations of, the signals when development occu rs will be paid for the most part by the <br />developer(s). <br /> <br />VII. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Mr. Laden made a MOTION to adjourn the m eeting at 6:55 p.m. Motion was supported <br />by Mr. Hyden.
