The purpose of the visioning process was to establish a
long -range vision for the city over the next fifteen years, which corresponded to
the full build out of the community. Using a
multifaceted approach that included focus groups, town hall meetings and a
community wide survey, the City gathered input from all stakeholder groups.
Once the input was received, the committee worked with Springsted to identify
major themes, guiding principles, and specific action steps spread over the
fifteen years of the plan.
