• <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06 -106 <br />AUTHORIZING SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT AND CABARET LICENSE <br />FOR OUTDOOR DANCE AT MILLER'S ON MAIN ON AUGUST 18 -19, 2006 <br />WHEREAS, Chad Wagner of Miller's on Main has submitted an application for a <br />special event permit and a cabaret license for an outdoor dance event to be held <br />on August 18 & 19, 2006, and <br />WHEREAS, consistent with previous approvals, and recognizing that <br />successfully implementing an event of this type requires ongoing communication <br />and instruction, staff recommends that conditions of approval be attached and <br />incorporated into this resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has agreed to address a checklist of concerns prior to <br />the event and has expressed a willingness to be bound to the conditions <br />recommended by staff (Attachment A) and to continue to work with staff to <br />address additional concerns which may arise; <br />WHEREAS, the Police Department has conducted the necessary background <br />investigation on the applicant and has found no reason to deny the permits; <br />WHEREAS, proof of general liability and liquor liability insurance has been <br />submitted by the applicant; <br />Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes: <br />That the City Council authorizes the proper city staff to grant a Special Event <br />Permit and a Cabaret License to Miller's on Main for an outdoor dance event on <br />August 18 & 19, 2006 subject to the attached conditions (Attachments A) <br />Approved by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 26TH day of June, <br />2006. <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />John J.
