• <br />AGENDA <br />Council Member <br />and moved its adoption: introduced the following resolution <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06 - 101 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE LADIES AUXILIARY VFW POST <br />#6583 FOR THE SCHOOL PATROL PROGRAM APPRECIATION DAY EVENT <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />the Rice Lake Elementary School Patrol students attend <br />an appreciation day at the Mall of America, <br />funding for the entrance fee is sponsored by the <br />Suburban Law Enforcement Association, however the <br />transportation cost to the Mall of America is not <br />included, <br />the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post #6583 has made a donation <br />in the amount of $280.00 to the City of Lino Lakes to <br />defer the cost of the transportation provided by the <br />Bus Company; and <br />WHEREAS, the monies will be appropriated to the General Fund in <br />the following manner: <br />Increase Revenue - Contributions 101- 3720 -000 <br />Increase Expenditures - Police 101- 420 - 4211 -000 <br />$280.00 <br />$280.00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes <br />hereby accepts the donation of $280.00 to defer the cost of <br />transportation to the Mall of America for the School Patrol <br />Appreciation Day and wishes to express its gratitude to the <br />Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post #6583 for their donation. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 26th day of June, <br />2006. <br />John Bergeson, Mayor <br />Julie Bartell, City Clerk <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Council Member and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
