• <br />AGENDA ITEM 1 E <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Michael Grochala <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DATE: <br />TOPIC: <br />July 10, 2006 <br />Consideration of Resolution No. 06 -111 Approving <br />Classification of Tax Forfeited Property with notice to <br />obtain the property <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Anoka County has notified the city that a parcel of property (see map) in Lino <br />Lakes has tax forfeited to the State of Minnesota. The properties listed for <br />classification are all located within the Clearwater Creek Development. This <br />resolution notifies the county that the city wishes to withhold the property from <br />public sale because it is unbuildable, and is part of the trail, drainage and open <br />space network, approved as part of the Clearwater Creek development and <br />intended to be deeded to the City of Lino Lakes. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff is recommending approval of Resolution No. 06 -111. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />1.
