0 its adoption: Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06 -130 <br />APPROVING APPLICATION FOR A TEMPORARY 3.2 PERCENT BEER <br />LICENSE FOR THE CENTERVILLE LIONS <br />WHEREAS, the Centerville Lions have submitted an application for a temporary <br />3.2 percent malt liquor (beer) license to allow them to sell beer at the Blue Heron <br />Days softball tournament on August 18 through August 20, 2006; and <br />WHEREAS, the Centerville Lions have provided the necessary information and <br />insurance verification to qualify for a temporary license; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes Police Department has conducted a <br />background investigation of the applicant and indicates no reason to deny the <br />permit; and <br />• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />That the City Council hereby approves a temporary 3.2 percent malt liquor (beer) <br />license for the Centerville Lions to allow them to serve 3.2 malt liquor at Sunrise <br />Park on August 18 -20, 2006 in conjunction with the Blue Heron Days softball <br />tournament. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 14th day of August, 2006. <br />John Bergeson, Mayor <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this day of , 2006. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Council Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br />11) The following voted against same: <br />
