• Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 06 -146 RESOLUTION APPROVING MUNICIPAL BUILDINGS AND FACILITIES CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN FOR 2006 -2010 AND CONFIRMING INTENT TO ISSUE BONDS WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council a Municipal Buildings and Facilities Capital Improvement Plan for 2006 -2010 for the City prepared in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 475.521; and, WHEREAS, in preparing the Plan the City Council considered the factors set forth in Minnesota Statutes, Section 475.521, Subd. 3; and, WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly called and held on the Plan and the City Council's intent to issue bonds for that part of the Plan consisting of the 0 acquisition of the City Hall and Police building portions of the Civic Center Complex from the Lino Lakes Economic Development Authority pursuant to the requirements of Minnesota Statutes, Section 475.521. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES THAT: • 1. The Municipal Buildings and Facilities Capital Improvement Plan for 2006 -2010 is hereby approved. 2. The City Council's intent to issue bonds pursuant to the Plan is hereby confirmed. The issuance of the bonds is subject to a referendum if a petition meeting the requirements of Minnesota Statutes, Section 475.521, Subd. 2 (c) requesting a vote on the issuance is filed with the City Clerk within 30 days after the date hereof.
