The results of the quotes are presented below. City Council <br />action is required to award a contract to the lowest responsible bidder. <br />Contractor Amount of Bid <br />Midwest Landscapes $12,611.00 <br />Fairs Nursery $13,940.00 <br />Mickman Brothers $14,960.00 <br />Great Northern Landscapes $15,970.00 <br />Attached is a copy of the submitted quotes. The low bid was received from Midwest <br />Landscapes in the amount of $12,611.00. <br />The plantings will take place in several areas of the City including Clearwater Creek, <br />Highland Meadows, Hailey Manor, Oakwood View, Ravens Hollow, Spirit Hills, <br />Stoneybrook, Turnberry Crossing, and West Shadow Ponds. <br />The funding for boulevard tree planting is provided by developer escrow funds. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends adoption of Resolution No. 06 -178, Accepting Quotes and Awarding <br />a Contract to Midwest Landscapes for the 2006 Boulevard Tree Planting project. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />1.
