• <br />• <br />AGENDA ITEM 3A <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Gordon Heitke, City Administrator <br />MEETING DATE: November 13, 2006 <br />TOPIC: Consider Resolution No. 06 -179 regarding <br />Council work session agenda <br />VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority (3/5 Vote) <br />BACKGROUND: <br />At the October 23, 2006 work session the process for placement of items on <br />council agendas was discussed. The Council reviewed the current policy that <br />allows addition of items on regular council agendas when the request is made by <br />two council members. A similar policy for work session agendas was requested. <br />A resolution setting forth a requirement that at least two Council Members must <br />request an item to be placed on a regular agenda in addition to the items placed <br />on the agenda by administration is attached. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Approve Resolution No. 06 -179 regarding placement of items on the <br />council work session agenda; <br />2. Deny approval of Resolution No. 06 -179. <br />
