• Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06 -197 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br />AMONG THE UNITS OF GOVERNMENT COMPRISING THE VADNAIS LAKE AREA <br />WATER MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />Whereas, the constituent units of government comprising the Vadnais Lake Area <br />Water management Organization entered into a Joint Powers Agreement to meet the <br />requirements of the Metropolitan Surface Water management Act in September of <br />1983; and <br />Whereas, the governmental units have now agreed that certain amendments to <br />that document are necessary; and <br />Whereas, said Joint Powers Agreement will expire at the end of 2006; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />That the Mayor and the City Administrator are authorized to execute a Joint <br />Powers Agreement reestablishing the Vadnais Lake Area Water Management <br />Organization through December 31, 2011. <br />John Bergeson, Mayor <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this day of , 2006. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
