• <br />• <br />• <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MEETING DATE: <br />TOPIC: <br />VOTE REQUIRED: <br />BACKGROUND: <br />AGENDA ITEM 1B <br />Michael Grochala, <br />Community Development Director <br />February 11, 2008 <br />Resolution No. 08 -20, Approving Payment Request No. 2 <br />(Final), Lino Lakes Regional Trail Improvements. <br />Simple Majority <br />At the March 26, 2007 meeting, City Council awarded the Lino Lakes Regional Trail <br />Improvement Project contract to WB Miller, Inc. <br />The contractor for the Lino Lakes Regional Trail Project, WB Miller, Inc. is requesting City <br />approval of Payment Request No. 2 (Final) in the amount of $13,963.39. A copy of the Final <br />Payment is attached. The contractor has satisfactorily completed all work and has provided all <br />necessary documentation. <br />With this final payment the total project costs come to $93,282.31, which is approximately 7% <br />below the contract cost of $99,585.15. <br />Approval of the Final Payment will begin the two -year warranty period. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends the approval of Resolution No. 08 -20, Approving Payment Request No. 2 <br />(Final), Lino Lakes Regional Trail Improvements. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />1.
