<br />CONTRACTOR SHALL STRIP, STOCKPILE AND RE– SPREAD SUFFICIENT TOPSOIL TO PROVIDE A MINIMUM FOUR INCH DEPTH TO ALL
<br />DISTURBED AREAS TO BE SODDED OR SEEDED.
<br />THE PROPOSED GRADING PLAN INDICATES FINAL GRADING AFTER THE HOUSES ARE CONSTRUCTED. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL
<br />APPLY A HOLDDOWN OF 2.25' ACROSS THE BUILD PAD LOCATIONS DURING THE GENERAL GRADING OF THE SITE. THE
<br />FINISHED BUILDING SUBGRADE ELEVATION SHALL NOT VARY BY MORE THAN 0.10 FEET ABOVE OR BELOW THE PROPOSED
<br />ELEVATION. STREET OR PARKING AREA SUBGRADE ELEVATION SHALL NOT VARY BY MORE THAN 0.05 FEET ABOVE OR
<br />BELOW THE PRESCRIBED ELEVATION. AREAS TO RECEIVE TOPSOIL SHALL BE GRADED TO WITHIN 0.10 FEET OF THE
<br />REQUIRED ELEVATION UNLESS DIRECTED OTHERWISE BY THE ENGINEER. TOPSOIL SHALL BE GRADED TO WITHIN % INCH OF

<br />THE CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE MINNESOTA POLLUTION CONTROL AGENCY – NATIONAL

<br />THE CONTRACTOR SHALL ASSUME COMPLETE RESPONSIBILITY FOR CONTROUJNG ALL SILTATION AND EROSION OF THE
<br />PROJECT AREA. ALL EROSION CONTROL AND SILTATION CONTROL MEASURES SHALL COMPLY WITH MINNESOTA'S BEST
<br />MANAGEMENT PRACTICES MANUAL. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL USE WHATEVER MEANS NECESSARY TO CONTROL EROSION AND
<br />SILTATION INCLUDING, BUT NOT UMITED T0, STAKED STRAW BALES, ROCK ENTRANCES AND /OR SILT FENCES. CONTROL
<br />SHALL COMMENCE WITH GRADING AND CONTINUE THROUGHOUT THE PROJECT UNTIL ACCEPTANCE OF WORK BY THE OWNER.
<br />THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY INCLUDES: ALL DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION AS REQUIRED TO PREVENT EROSION AND
<br />THE DEPOSITING OF SILT. THE OWNER MAY, AT HIS/HER OPTION, DIRECT THE CONTRACTOR IN HIS/HER METHODS AS
<br />DEEMED FIT TO PROTECT PROPERTY AND IMPROVEMENTS. ANY DEPOSITING OF SILT OR MUD ON NEW OR EXISTING
<br />PAVEMENT OR IN EXISTING STORM SEWERS OR SWALES SHALL BE REMOVED AFTER EACH RAIN AND AFFECTED AREAS
