Mac LeFevre will be a resource <br />we will consult as necessary on difficult issues or negotiating matters. <br />Real Estate <br />The Firm's attorneys provide a full range of services in the area of real estate law to both <br />municipalities and private clients. Corrine Heine is a certified by the Minnesota State Bar <br />Association as a real property law specialist. <br />General and Public Contracting <br />The attorneys in our Firm regularly advise our municipal clients on public contracting <br />matters, including drafting and reviewing contract documents and answering bidding questions. <br />Mike Norton regularly advises his clients on these matters and has spoken at seminars on public <br />bidding and contract issues for the Firm's clients. <br />Environmental and Superfund Law <br />Kennedy & Graven has practiced extensively in environmental law through the <br />representation of both public and private clients. Our experience includes providing advice and <br />litigation representation concerning the Minnesota Environmental Rights Act, historic preservation, <br />environmental impact statements, and environmental worksheets. Mike Norton has significant <br />experience working on and supervising attorneys handling a variety of environmental issues. <br />Joint Powers <br />The Firm has extensive experience with joint powers organizations. We have prepared <br />numerous joint powers contracts for groups of municipalities for various purposes. Mike Norton <br />has drafted several such agreements and has advised many clients on issues arising from such <br />agreements. Kennedy & Graven currently serves as general counsel to several joint power entities, <br />including the Hennepin Recycling Group and the Local Government Information Service. <br />Legislative <br />Kennedy & Graven has for many years been active in legislative matters on behalf of our <br />clients.
