At the time the original PUD was approved in 2003, the City's <br />Comprehensive Plan for medium density residential development allowed for 3 to 6 <br />dwelling units per acre and the original density was 2.93 units per acre. Although the <br />current Comprehensive Plan for medium density requires 4.0 to 5.9 dwelling units per <br />acre, the developer has the right to develop at a density consistent with the original PUD. <br />The increased density to 3.81 units per acre moves in a direction more consist with the <br />current Comprehensive Plan. <br />
